UPCOMING BOARD & MEMBER MEETINGS 2018

SUMMER MEETING:  SUNDAY, JUNE 17, 2018

LOCATION:    Sage Wellness, 8797 W. Gage Blvd, Suite A, Kennewick, WA  99336

TIME:

Board Meeting     10:00a.m. – Noon  (members welcome to attend)

Member Meeting 1:00 – 3:00p.m.

Class:   Sound Healing.  This class will be taught by Chastity Jewel.  Chastity is a Licensed Massage Therapist as well as a Certified Yoga Instructor.  She  has been offering healing sound baths to her clients and she teaches workshops on how sound helps with life balance.  This is a great opportunity to come and meet the 2018 WRA Board members and spend an afternoon with like-minded practitioners while earning ARCB-approved CEUs.

*2 ARCB CE UNITS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS WHO ATTEND MEETING/CLASS

This class is free to current WRA members. Non-members welcome for the low cost of $10.

2018 WRA-SPONSORED WORLD REFLEXOLOGY WEEK EVENTS

In 2017 The WRA hosted three successful public events celebrating World Reflexology Week and the WRA’s 20th Anniversary.   In 2018, the WRA  is hoping to repeat our successes by participating in two of those events again during the month of September.    WRA  Members are encouraged to organize their own events as well  during WRW.  Please contact us for information on hosting your own personal events and let us advertise them on our website and facebook page.

Each year the Governor of Washington State proclaims the last full week of September as Reflexology Week in the State of Washington. *Click here for a copy of the 2017 Reflexology Awareness Week 2017  proclamation!

LOCATION:             City of Lynnwood Recreation Center, 18900 – 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA

DATE:                        Saturday, September 8, 2018

TIME:                         10a.m. – 2p.m.

 

The WRA is participating in the City of Lynnwood’s Health & Safety Block Party, the Fair on 44th.  WRA members will be offering free mini-reflexology sessions and educating the public on the value of reflexology and the benefits of walking on a reflexology path.

LOCATION:             Bastyr University Campus, Medicinal Herb Garden, 14500 Juanita Dr NE, Kenmore, WA

This is a co-event in which we are working with Bastyr University.  WRA members will be available to offer free mini-reflexology sessions to the public while Bastyr employees will be leading guided tours through their herb gardens.

Class:   Vision Boarding.  Attendees will be creating their own vision boards as WRA President Drusilla Meyer leads a conversation on integrating your life and business to create success and balance.  Participants are encouraged to bring their questions, challenges and suggestions to share with others (as well as a pair of scissors).   This is a great opportunity to come and meet the 2018 WRA Board members and spend an afternoon with like-minded practitioners while earning ARCB-approved CEUs.
